The University Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management (UIHTM) (Earlier known as University Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism OR UIHMT) is an upcoming premier institute of Panjab University, which is offering education, training, research and consultancy in the field of hospitality, tourism, travel and allied sectors

Hotel management entrance test “PUTHAT 2016” is conducted to offer admission to qualifying candidate to B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration and B.Sc. in Tourism Management courses

 Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate must have passed the intermediate or equivalent examination.
• Candidate pursuing last year of intermediate is also eligible to appear for the exam.
• Candidate must have scored a minimum of aggregate 50% marks in intermediate or equivalent examination. 
• Candidate must have passed English subject without grace marks.

 Exam Pattern:

• The question paper will consist of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs).
• Negative marking is applicable.
• The question paper will be set in English only.
• Total time duration of the test is 90 minutes.
